Refund policy

Murderous Ink has a 21-day return policy, which means you have 21 days after receiving your item to request a return.

In the rare instance we've made an error with your order or there is a manufacturing/printing problem with your purchase that we missed, we can give you a replacement, offer a full credit, or refund. In cases such as this, Murderous Ink will refund or credit the cost of postage.

Any refunds will be made to the original payment method.

Eligibility

  • Item/s must be in the same condition as you received it – unread or unused – and in the original packaging. 
  • You must be able to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
  • You must contact Murderous Ink before returning any item/s. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
  • If you are returning something because of damages, please send a photo of the damage and the packaging with the shipping label. 
  • If you are returning items due to change of mind or duplicate copies, we cannot cover the cost of postage. Murderous Ink will cover the cost of postage in instances of damage or manufacturing error and incorrect deliveries. 

Non-eligible items

Items or conditions that are not eligible for returns include but are not limited to:

  • Sale items, gift cards, simple change of mind, custom products or special orders – unless the special order is damaged.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

How to make a return

To start a return, contact us at info@murderousink.com.au. The process will be smoother and faster if you send through as much details as possible – proof of purchase, reason for return (if the reason is damage, photographs are helpful) and your preferred outcome – replacement, refund, store credit. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: Murderous Ink, PO Box 153, NORTHGATE LPO, Queensland 4013. Once we have received the items in question and assessed any reported damage, we will get in touch to confirm the next step – refund, credit, or replacement.
